These terms and conditions govern the terms of use of www.thewesternbalkans.com hereinafter referred to as “the website”.

By using the Website, the user agrees to these general terms and conditions. If you do not agree with the same, you should refrain from using the Website.
1. Intellectual Property
1.1. All intellectual property rights regarding the information resources and content of the website are exercised by the Operator. They are protected by the Bulgarian Copyright Act and related rights and any use of content from the Website without the consent of the Operator is a violation of the law, which may result in civil, administrative criminal or criminal liability.
1.2. Users may not copy, reproduce, republish, download, post, broadcast, transmit, make available to the public, or otherwise use www.thewesternbalkans.com content in any way except for its own personal, non-commercial use. Any other use of www.thewesternbalkans.com content requires the prior written permission of EHWB. In the case of copying or reproduction of information, as well as in case of any other violation of intellectual property rights on the Operator’s resources, the Operator has the right to claim compensation for the direct and indirect damages suffered in full.
2. Limitation of Liability
2.1. The operator takes the necessary measures to keep the content of the Website up-to-date, but is not responsible for its actual topicality. In this regard, the Operator is not liable for direct and indirect damages, including lost profits, that a user of the Website would incur under any circumstances related to the published content of the Website and access to it. By using the Website, users assume all risks associated therewith, including any risk to users’ end devices, software or data.
2.2. To the extent that the content of the Website contains links to content located outside the same, the user is aware of the fact that the Operator has no control over that content and is not responsible for the consequences of activating links leading outside the Website.
The operator is not responsible for malicious actions by third parties to which the user may become subject when using the Website. The User uses the Website at his own risk.
3. User registration
3.1. The operator reserves the right to provide part of the content of the Website only to users who have registered their user profile on the Website. The relevant content, limited only to registered users, should be marked as such by the Operator at any time.
3.2. When creating a user profile, the user agrees that the Operator will process his personal data in accordance with the rules of the Personal Data Protection Policy published on the Website.
4. Use of the Website
4.1. To the extent that the Operator has provided an opportunity for users to upload content to the Website, they should not upload defamatory, uncensored, offensive, pornographic or otherwise illegal or morally objectionable content.
4.2. Users must use the Website in good faith, including not taking malicious actions that may affect the accessibility of content to third parties or the use of the Website in general.
5. Others
5.1. The operator reserves the right to amend these general terms and conditions at its discretion, as at any moment the current terms and conditions for use of the Website will be published on the same.
5.2. The provisions of the current legislation of the Republic of Bulgaria apply to all matters not settled by these General Terms and Conditions.
SUBSCRIPTION TERMS FOR THE “ANALYSES” CATEGORY ON WWW.THEWESTERNBALKANS.COM
I. GENERAL TERMS
The electronic platform www.thewesternbalkans.com offers a paid subscription service for in-depth weekly analyses. Subscribers gain full access to the “Analyses” category for the chosen period.
By subscribing, users receive at least one exclusive analysis per week for the duration of their subscription.
Subscribers must pay a monthly, quarterly or six-monthly fee to www.thewesternbalkans.com for access. Payments are processed via the Stripe online payment platform.
This service is provided in compliance with the applicable laws of the Republic of Bulgaria.
II. SUBSCRIPTION PERIODS & PRICES
One-month subscription – €50
Three-month subscription – €130
Six-month subscription – €230
Subscriptions can be renewed for the same or a different period upon expiration. The subscription term begins after payment is received.
III. CANCELLATION POLICY
A subscription may be terminated under the following conditions:
Non-payment of the subscription fee.
Cancellation by the subscriber before the end of the subscription period. In this case, no refund will be issued.
Cancellation by www.thewesternbalkans.com before the end of the subscription period. In this case, a refund will be issued for the remaining period.
These terms ensure transparency, flexibility, and security for subscribers while guaranteeing continuous access to high-quality analyses.
